Welcome to Tax Season for the 2023 tax year!

Here is how to work with Charitax this tax season!

If you are a new client and do not have a ShareFile folder, please email jill@charitax.com to inquire about availability.

Step 1 - Complete the 2023 Tax Season Engagement Letter.

Step 2 - Complete the 2023 Tax Prep Questionnaire. We won’t be able to get started on your return without this info.

Step 3 - Upload your tax documents to your 2023 ShareFile folder! See below for a list of common tax documents. The completed questionnaire also provides a customized list. If you are a new client, please include a copy of your 2022 tax returns (Federal, State, and Local).

Step 4 - As soon as you have everything uploaded and the questionnaire completed, email jill@charitax.com to let us know you're ready for us to get started!**

**We don't get notifications when clients upload things to Sharefile.

(Optional) Schedule a call with one of our tax professionals to talk through your taxes and connect! If you don’t feel that you need this meeting and prefer to just provide your tax docs & questionnaire, that’s great too.

Submissions after March 15 will require an extension.
